I’ve spent almost a year reading 183 books in the thriller genre. I wanted to find “one good book”.

Spoiler alert: I did not find it

NB!

1. 183 is the number of books I remembered to note down.
2. You have to read a book a little like: “as is”. You can not read “Affair at Styles” and compare it to “The Magus”.. or “Hunger”. Still: a genre written book must - at least - be able to walk.. what Frankensteins monster have we otherwise created?

I read the books “as is”.. and found.. NOTHING.
A lot of same-same; a lot of “I have to construe a twist”.. no one had ANTYTHING to say.
