I found that different kinds of windows positioned differently.</p> <p>Turns out that <code>xdotool windowmove</code> has inconsistencies, using &lsquo;outer&rsquo; size (including decorations) and treating SSD-windows and CSD-windows differently.</p> <p>The soulution was <code>wmctrl -e gravity 10</code>.</p> <p>I never had such a &ldquo;visual&rdquo; minitest.. where windows where moved around and checked using <code>xwininfo</code>.</p>
